Lindsey Vonn (born Kildow) is an alpine ski racer on the U.S. Ski Team and the reigning overall World Cup champion.
Vonn was raised in the Twin Cities metro area (in Burnsville, Minnesota), and was on skis at age 2 before moving into Erich Sailer's renowned development program at Buck Hill, which also produced slalom racer Kristina Koznick. She commuted to Colorado to train for a couple of years before her family moved to Vail in the late 1990s. She married fellow 2002 Olympian and former U.S. Ski Team athlete Thomas Vonn on September 29, 2007

Evander Holyfield (born October 19, 1962) is a professional boxer from the United States and a multiple world champion in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions, earning him the nickname "The Real Deal". Holyfield won the bronze medal in the Light Heavyweight division at the 1984 Summer Olympics after a controversial disqualification in the semifinal. He is the only boxer to win the heavyweight title 4 times.

Backtalk beat Flatter Than Me by a length Friday in the $110,500 Bashford Manor Stakes at Churchill Downs. Backtalk, ridden by Miguel Mena, ran six furlongs in 1:11.08 and paid $3.60, $2.60 and $2.20. Flatter Than Me returned $3.60 and $3.20, and Brassy Boy paid $4 to show. Backtalk gave trainer Tom Amoss his second Bashford Manor victory.
Go Go Shoot wins Monmouth feature (AP)Go Go Shoot held off Timely Advice by a half-length Friday in the in the $75,000 Mr. Prospector Stakes at Monmouth Park. Trained by Bruce Levine and ridden by Eddie Castro, the 4-year-old gelding covered six furlongs on the fast main track in 1:08 3-5 and paid $4.60, $2.60 and $2.40. Timely Advice returned $3 and $2.20, and Unwritten paid $3 to show.
Jazzy wins Belmont's Caress Stakes (AP)
Jazzy, a 24-1 long shot, beat J Z Warrior by a half-length Friday in the $68,200 Caress Stakes for fillies and mares on the turf at Belmont Park. The 7-year-old Jazzy, trained by Mark Hennig, snapped a 10-race losing streak dating to her victory in Belmont's Gallant Bloom Handicap on Sept. 22, 2007.
